Partially Edentulous Mandibular Posterior Guidestent
This study cast has markings for two implant sites. Using a #8 bur, the holes are drilled with a lingual inclination of the long axis of the drill bit.

The holes are cleaned, the cast is lubricated and tooth undercuts are blocked out.

Dowel pins and sleeves are placed on the prepared cast.

The best possible angulation was determined by setting denture teeth in proper alignment, and with pins perpendicular to the ridge. Denture teeth are drilled, shaped to fit, cov-eredwith Triad Gel (Dentsply Inter-national) and light cured.
